EVENT ORGANISERS CELEBRATE SUCCESSFUL SUMMER AT WALTON HALL & GARDENS!

Event organisers are celebrating a successful summer of events at the stunning Walton Hall & Gardens, with tens of thousands of people travelling to the Warrington venue for a dynamic series of shows. Following the exciting Daresbury Festival and Walton Live events, the team are already planning 2026 shows!

Daresbury Festival returned to the manor house and gardens in June 2025 — an all day event featuring Groove Armada, Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Craig Charles, Greg Wilson and Graeme Park. This incredible showcase was followed up with the Walton Live double header featuring Craig David’s TS5 show on Friday 12th September and a Hacienda’s event on Saturday 13th September.

The latest Hacienda event featured an array of electronic music icons including Leftfield, Orbital, Danny Tenaglia, Mike Pickering, Erol Alkan, DJ Paulette, Jon Da Silva, Peter Hook, Justin Robertson and a special appearance from Hacienda legend Herbie Saccani. The event wrapped up an incredible summer at the venue — thanks to its collaboration with the experienced event organisers and the council.

One man at the centre of the events, ‘Brina’, has been instrumental in all the showcases. Through his events brand, Xtra Humongous Events, he has organised and facilitated large scale events for brands such as Coca-Cola, Red Bull and Barclays, and now he has become an integral part of the Daresbury Festival and Walton Hall Live operations.

Brina said: “Wow – what a weekend at Walton Hall & Gardens for the launch of our brand-new series of outdoor shows, following the success of Daresbury Festival in June. On Friday, Craig David took to the stage in front of a sold-out crowd, who soaked up the stunning surroundings and an unforgettable, visually spectacular performance. The reviews were incredible to read, and a highlight of the night came when three ladies who had flown 18 hours to be there were able to meet Craig after his set – a truly special moment that made the occasion even more memorable.”

He continued: “Saturday saw the legendary Haçienda bring a world-first to Walton Hall & Gardens, with Orbital and Leftfield co-headlining together for the very first time, supported by an exceptional line-up. The show exceeded expectations, delivering both musically and visually, and welcomed thousands of people – many experiencing the venue for the first time – into what we believe is one of the most magical outdoor spaces in the country.”

Brina and the team are already planning some big events at Walton Hall & Gardens for 2026, as the venue celebrates its 80th birthday. With the return of Daresbury Festival and some more Walton Hall Live showcases in the pipeline, there will no doubt be some huge bookings and perhaps a surprise or two up their sleeves too.

Brina summarised: “A huge amount of creative planning have gone into ensuring the productions were immersive, high-impact, and perfectly matched to the calibre of the artists on stage. The results spoke for themselves – the photos and feedback capture the atmosphere and shared joy of people coming together through music.”

He continued: “We’re already looking ahead, with dates confirmed for next year’s Walton Live Weekend – Friday 11th & Saturday 12th September 2026. We can’t wait to reveal what’s coming! And don’t forget, before then we return with our much-loved Daresbury Festival on Saturday 20th June 2026 – our fourth year of House, Disco & Happiness and a guaranteed highlight of the summer. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Walton Hall & Gardens in 2026 for more unforgettable weekends.”

Both Daresbury Festival and Walton Hall Live will be returning for 2026, meanwhile Walton Hall & Gardens also have a wide range of other events at their stunning estate throughout the year. For anyone wanting to keep up to date with Daresbury Festival and Walton Live, announcements will be made on their respective socials in due course.
