FEMALE ENTREPRENEUR EVENT RAISES MONEY FOR WIRRAL CHARITY!

Neo Community was the charity partner for a January event at The Storyhouse in Chester that raised almost £300 for the community hub. ‘The Big Vision Ignited’ featured motivational speakers, workshops, mini taster sessions and breakthrough activities — bringing together women from across the region for a day of inspiration, clarity and courageous self-belief.

Despite challenging weather, attendees travelled long distances from Scotland and London to attend, stepping outside their comfort zones to take part in an experience designed to help people reconnect with their vision and move forward with confidence for the year ahead.

Lisa Williams, owner of The Vision Board Queen and Co-Director of Womanifest, hosted the event and said: “I am so grateful to each person who attended the event, as these events are never about me, it is about them. Giving them tools to help them move forward. It was a thoroughly enriching event and despite the weather we had a great turnout and raised hundreds for a fantastic local charity.”

The day was filled with lightbulb moments, emotional release and clarity — moments where attendees realised what was holding them back and what they were truly capable of next. One of the event speakers, Joanne Gibson, said: “It was a room full of people who had chosen to show up for themselves. I listened to brilliant talks, joined workshops, and learnt so much.”

She continued: “When I ran my workshop, every chair around the table was filled. It wasn’t about fixing anyone or handing out a ‘right way’ to do business — it was about understanding that everyone works differently. There were so many ‘ohhh, that makes sense’ moments.”

The glass walk breakthrough session proved to be one of the most profound moments of the day. Another attendee shared: “I walked barefoot over broken glass and it changed me in ways I never thought possible. There were tears, clarity, healing, and magic in that room. I found a bravery I didn’t even know existed in me, and I realised what I need to do next.”

Beyond personal transformation, The Big Vision Ignited also raised £262.30 for Neo Community, supporting their vital work within the community. Ema Wilkes, CEO and Founder of Neo Community, said: “I’m incredibly grateful to Lisa for the invitation to speak at the Big Vision Ignited Conference at the beautiful Storyhouse. It was a powerful, uplifting day, and it meant so much to see some of our Neo ladies in the room taking so much away from the experience.”

She continued: “I was honoured to share the story of Neo Community with such an open, inspiring group of women, and deeply thankful for the generosity shown in raising almost £300 to support our work. We truly appreciate the support and look forward to welcoming Lisa and members of her network into Neo, as well as continuing to stand alongside her future events, including Womanifest.”

Tickets are now available for the next event on 18th September 2026. You can get in touch with Lisa about the event by emailing her at info@lisawilliams-lmg.co.uk
