The CIC offers six-week programmes for children aged 6+, providing tools to manage anxiety, grief and neurodivergent conditions. Sessions are available 1-2-1 or in groups, with group courses currently priced at just £70 for the entire course. By attending the launch event or supporting the CIC, you’ll be helping to fund crucial services that give young people the tools they need for brighter futures. With 1 in 6 children between 5 and 15 suffering from some sort of mental health disorder, families stretched and the NHS child mental health waiting list over 12 months, the new CIC is bridging the gap in a major way.

Founder Carly Openshaw, who has a wide range of child mental health qualifications and years of experience working with children, said: “I’m a certified STILL Method coach working with both children and adults to manage anxiety and regulate big feelings — at home, in schools and in systems that often overwhelm us. I’m also a mum who’s been there. I’ve lived the panic. I’ve sat on the floor with a child mid-meltdown. I’ve juggled single parenting, poor health and the crushing pressure to “get it right.”
She continued: “There are so many families out there who are struggling with the pressures of their child’s mental health — whether that be anxiety, emotional problems or the challenges that come with conditions such as autism and ADHD. There’s no rule book and little support out there for families and many don’t know where to turn. With the CAMHS mental health waiting lists often over 12 months long, we aim to bridge the gap and offer tools to and support.”
