The charity will host completely free drop-in sessions every Tuesday evening at The Sandbrook Centre in Moreton, beginning on Tuesday 14th October. Running from 6.30pm to 8pm, the sessions are designed to be informal and welcoming, giving local men a safe, non-judgemental space to chat, connect and unwind. Alongside conversation, attendees can enjoy free refreshments, board games and more.

The charity’s mission is to grow a strong network of local men who can support one another through the ups and downs of life. Beyond the Tuesday drop-ins, the organisation is also running a variety of free activities to help boost wellbeing through social connection and physical exercise. These include:
- Free football sessions on Monday and Thursday evenings in Prenton
- Upcoming walk-and-talks and group hikes
- Free social events such as going out to watch live sport
- Cycletherapy’ bike rides launching in spring

One of the charity’s Trustees, Sam Roberts, said: “Men’s mental health is something we can’t afford to ignore. Initiatives like this give people a lifeline, a safe space and a reminder that no one has to struggle alone. Through relaxed and informal meet ups, getting outdoors in nature, sport and social events, we aim to tackle the issue in a non-clinical and accessible way.”

With suicide still one of the leading causes of death among men under 50 in the UK, the charity hopes that by creating regular opportunities to connect, more men will feel comfortable speaking openly about their mental health and seeking support before reaching crisis point. The charity also has a wider network of mental health experts and professionals, should any members require additional support.

The organisers encourage any local man who may be struggling — or simply looking for some positive social connection — to come along and give it a try. The weekly meet-ups on Tuesday are supported by Magenta Living, who have donated The Sandbrook Centre space without a hire charge, and the sessions are completely free to attend.
