In his quirky, psychedelic style, Daniel can paint a personalised masterpiece as a portrait, about a person’s favourite object, place or anything they wish — either for themselves or as a gift.

With a Degree in Fine Art and a Masters Degree in European Fine Art, Daniel Meakin has been selling internationally for over 30 years. Having ran a gallery in Barcelona and having exhibited and received numerous commissions throughout Europe, the U.S and Australia, the acclaimed artist now resides in Wirral, where he has hosted various exhibitions alongside other local artists.

Daniel said: “I moved to West Kirby in 2022 and instantly fell in love with the area. I have showcased my work at West Kirby Arts Centre, The Everyman Theatre, Wirral Open Studios, Dot Art, Start Yard, Hatch, Tallulah’s and other venues. My private gallery is particularly special, as it’s where you can see all of my work, whilst enjoy views over the marina and over to Wales.”
He continued: “The majority of my work is indeed private commissions, from ‘Mini Meakins’ as small gifts for as little as £45 to large wall features and even items of furniture. I thoroughly enjoy giving people, animals, places and whatever people love a vibrant new multicoloured look — immortalising them through unique, abstract pieces.
