Created by multi award winning local chef, Mick Navarro, the new small plates menu at Wavertree Town Hall offers a refined selection of quality dishes — with nibbles and dishes from ‘The Garden’, ‘The Field’, ‘The Farm’ and ‘The Sea’. From Spinach with Pine Nuts & Raisins to Chorizo in Honey to Mussels, there’s something for everyone.

Despite the gorgeous setting and the exceptional quality, the prices are very reasonable and there’s an offer of 3 small plates for £15 all day Monday and then Tues — Sat 12pm until 4pm. Executive Chef Mick Navarro is the supremely talented chef behind restaurants such as Neon Jamon, Pod and The Three Piggies, so the quality is of the highest order.

Our Visit….
We visited on a Monday to enjoy some of the delightful dishes and WOW what a building and what an experience! The historic building is simply sensational and we enjoyed 5 small plates — Padron Peppers, Pan Con Tomate, Mick’s Mushrooms, Korean Chicken Bites, Manchego & Spinach Croquetas. To say you won’t be disappointed is an understatement!

Celebrating its 150 year anniversary, the iconic building is now thriving again thanks to the superhuman efforts of Natalie and Lisa, who saved it from ruin in 2020. The stylish venue also offers mouth watering Sunday roasts with live music, cocktails (2-4-£10)and afternoon tea and it’s a popular venue for private hire and weddings — with a 250 capacity function suite.
