TRILOGY OF BLUES SHOWS COMING TO FUTUREYARD!

Wirral’s dynamic events promoters Events 471 are set to light up Future Yard with three incredible blues-inspired nights! Local legends Xander & The Peace Pirates, Jules Holland favourite Toby Lee and a double-header featuring Liz Jones & Broken Windows and Leanne Brumfitt & Full Band are all set to be huge shows at the Birkenhead venue!

Toby Lee: Thurs 7th Aug

Huge booking! A showcase of fingerstyle guitar and soulful vocals, this performance by teenage blues virtuoso Toby Lee has earned praise in the highest places — Jools Holland calls him “out of this world” and he’s a three-time UK Young Blues Artist of the Year! Toby Lee is the real deal — a mind-blowing guitarist with a voice to match.

His music exudes a class and sophistication far beyond his years and his résumé is nothing short of remarkable. Entirely self-taught, Toby has appeared on major TV shows around the world, wowed audiences in London’s West End — earning an Olivier Award — and he’s shared the stage with Slash, Joe Bonamassa and other legends. Blues & Country Double Headline Show: Thurs 9th Oct

An inspired genre-blend featuring Liz Jones & Broken Windows (a six-piece roots-rock outfit fronted by a charismatic vocalist “with a voice to wake the dead”) alongside Cheshire’s own rising country performer Leanne Brumfitt & Full Band. Together, they’ll deliver a heartfelt collision of blues, country, and storytelling — all in one electric evening.

Fronted by the magnetic Liz Jones — a vocalist “with a voice to wake the dead” — Broken Windows delivers layered, dynamic performances brimming with attitude, soul, and originality. Meanwhile, Cheshire-based country artist Leanne Brumfitt has quickly carved out her space in the UK country scene — with a series of acclaimed singles!

Xander & The Peace Pirates (Full Band): Fri 10th Oct

A rare full-band return for Xander & The Peace Pirates, this night promises an unfiltered musical voyage. Following their electrifying 2024 show in Birkenhead, this event is marked as “pure, unfiltered musical fire” as one of Merseyside’s greatest bands of recent times is set to put on an incredible showcase!

From a residency at Liverpool’s iconic Cavern Club to supporting legends like Joe Bonamassa, Joe Satriani, Manfred Mann’s Earth Band and Bon Jovi, Xander & The Peace Pirates have shared stages with the elite and now they’re bringing that same high-octane magic back to the Wirral. With support from incredible Events 471 artists Liz Owen and Amy Antrobus!
