Tiny Tools for Big Feelings was launched with the aim of supplementing existing services and offering practical support earlier in the emotional development journey. Director and child mental health expert Carly Openshaw has emphasised that early intervention is key in helping children understand their internal experiences, build confidence and develop tools to cope with anxiety in healthy ways.

Carly explains: “Since launching the CIC in September 2025, the demand for support has been overwhelming as more and more children and parents are struggling with mental health. It’s so important that we address this as early on as possible. The feedback for our courses has been incredible and the 2026 programme continues to offer creative and therapeutic approaches tailored to age groups and needs.”
