A Wirral men’s mental health charity is inviting people to enjoy a night of laughter, bingo and festive fun this December, all while raising vital funds to support local men struggling with their mental health.
Mersey Mind Project is gearing up for a special Christmas Comedy Bingo fundraiser on Friday 11th December 2026 at Misty Blues in Wallasey — hosted by hilarious comedian and comedy bingo legend Brendan Riley! The event promises an evening packed with laughs, banter and bingo, with prizes to be won and all money raised helping the charity continue providing free mental health support sessions to men across the local community.

And this December, the charity is hoping the local community will get behind its latest fundraiser by swapping a traditional night out for an evening of comedy bingo. Tickets cost just £10, with only 100 places available, meaning those hoping to attend are being encouraged to secure their tickets early.
The evening gets underway at 7pm at Misty Blues, Manor Road, Wallasey, CH44 1BY. Expect bingo with both silly and attractive prizes, music, props and plenty of time to have a laugh — hosted by comedian and comedy bingo legend Bren Riley! With people planning Christmas nights out, organisers are expecting a fantastic turnout and every ticket sold will help to ensure Mersey Mind Project can continue offering its sessions completely free of charge.

Mersey Mind Project’s Chris Guy said: “Since being formed in 2025, Mersey Mind Project has helped hundreds of local men — through peer support groups and combatting loneliness and isolation through free sport sessions and activities. It’s getting more and more difficult for charities to access funding, so events like these are so important! They offer a lot of fun whilst raising money for a great cause at the same time.”
