What’s so good about Karma?
If you’ve ever visited Karma Indian Food you’ll appreciate the quality on offer at the West Kirby restaurant. Situated on Grange Road in the heart of the seaside town and open Tues — Sun for dine in and takeaway, Karma Indian Food is all about delivering a refined menu of small plates and classic dishes with a modern twist.

Karma Indian Food has a beautiful balance of fusing traditional family recipes with 21st Century dining and the restaurant is stylish yet relaxed — with great service to complement the flavoursome and colourful dishes. You’d be forgiven for thinking Karma Indian Food is expensive — it’s actually very reasonably priced given the high end quality.

What’s on the menu?
Karma Indian Food has a refined menu of smaller starters (ideal for tapas style dining and sharing), classic dishes with a modern twist and some interesting signature dishes. There’s an incredible selection of vegan and gluten free options, some delightful desserts and if you’re wanting to make a night of it there’s some fun cocktails, fine wine and gin balloons!

Our latest visit….
After almost a year, it was great to visit again — especially as 2022 is the 20th year of this incredible establishment. We naturally had poppadoms as an appetiser — served with not your typical dips, but an intriguing selection unique to Karma Indian Food. Even the poppadoms and dips make them stand out above other Indian restaurants.

Our selection of starters included Salmon Tikka, Cauliflower Pakoras, Bhajis and Chicken Chat — a nice example of how the dishes are diverse with something for everyone and ideal for sharing. For our mains we enjoyed Spinach & Potato Dhal, Bengali Prawn Curry and Butter Paneer — all served with pilau rice, garlic naan and peshwari naan. Karma Indian Food is no regular curry house and our latest visit reminded us why.

Karma Indian Food is without doubt one of the best restaurants around and most certainly our favourite Indian — it has it all!
