KREWE: HUGE MARDI GRAS MASQUERADE COMING TO THE PALM HOUSE!

A spectacular event like no other is coming to Sefton Park’s Palm House on Friday 7th February 2020! Krewe — the surreal Mardi Gras masquerade — is bringing a crazy carnival to the iconic Liverpool venue and it’s set to be one of the parties of the year! With so much going on, Liverpool’s first ever Mardi Gras party is one not to miss!

The extravaganza begins at 6pm and features dance music from the 1920s from Frog & Henry (New Orleans, Louisiana) and Liverpool’s The Jubilee Stompers, with DJ Jonnie O’Hare playing a New Orleans inspired soundtrack. Also on the night, expect dance Krewes from the likes of Invisible Wind Factory, EAT Me & Preach, Mersey Swing and Movema.

With a wild combination of funk, jazz and swing, expect the very best music, dance and colourful costumes. A bold and forward thinking event, this promises to be an explosive and fun showcase like no other. Hosted by Laura Brownhill (co-founder of The Kazimier) and Mellowtone (experienced Liverpool party starters) and set in Sefton Park’s botanical Victorian Glasshouse, Krewe offers a party like no other in the city. It may be a few months until the summer, but Mardi Gras is a perfect excuse for a carnival and the Krewe masquerade is a perfect excuse for a February party!
