What’s Woodside Ferry Village about?
Woodside Ferry Village is located inside the existing Woodside Ferry Terminal, situated just down the road from Hamilton Square train station. A former booking hall, it’s been transformed into a vibrant dining space — with live entertainment and quality food and drink. Opened in June 2019 by Woodside Area CIC, the venue boasts some of the best views in the region and it’s dog friendly too!
An idyllic place to visit whether you’re getting the ferry or not, the panoramic views over to Liverpool are truly breath taking. The terminal itself is steeped in history and the ferry to Liverpool departs every hour but with the views, some of the best food and drink vendors in the region and great entertainment, it’s difficult to leave.

What food and drink is available?
There are some cracking options for dining and drinking at Woodside Ferry Village. Their motto is “food with a view” and there aren’t many places around that offer such quality and with such stunning views. On Monday and Tuesday it’s just coffee, tea, cakes etc. but from Wednesday until Sunday there’s plenty of food and drink on offer!
Enjoy hearty pub classics at The Refreshment Rooms or flavoursome smokehouse creations from Cowfish Smokehouse. Enjoy a Mexican delight from Low, Slow & Dough, some fresh and tasty dishes from Haku Sushi, Mediterranean food from Andioma or a silky smooth coffee, warm cup of tea, cake or ice cream at Caffe Cream. Or simply sit back with a drink from The Tipsy Duck or the newly opened ground floor Duckling Bar whilst gazing over the Mersey.

What’s on and free venue hire….
There’s plenty going on at Woodside Ferry Village and plans for big events in 2020. Currently, they have ‘Wine Wednesdays’ where you can take advantage of a bottle of wine and a main each from any vendor for £15pp. They have a fantastic Open Mic Night every Thursday that attracts some of the best local talent.
On most Friday and Saturday nights there’s a late bar and live music from top local artists. If you’re looking for somewhere to host your own private party with access to the terrace and spectacular views of the River Mersey and the city, and some quality food and drink outlets to use, then get in touch to find out more.

Student discount….
Woodside Ferry Village has also launched a Student Discount, which means if you are a student come in any time between 3pm and 6pm Wednesday to Friday and you can get 20% discount off all vendors and bars. Just bring your student identification with you to get the discount.
