The new independent is open Mon and Tues 8am-4pm then Thurs-Sun 8am-late. In the daytime you can expect a chilled out playlist, with great coffee, tea, pastries, cakes and brunch dishes such as smoked salmon and scrambled egg on sourdough, whereas things get a little more upbeat into the evenings.

During the evenings the new hangout has introduced woodfired pizzas and it offers specialist wines selected by a top sommelier, as well as quality beers such as Vedett and Krombacher. It will soon also be hosting vinyl DJ set nights — perfect for a chilled evening in the Victoria Quarter.

The woodfired pizzas have been the talk of the town of late — with some incredible creations flying out of the oven! With a refined and simplistic menu of quality coffee, tea, wine, beer and food to match its minimalist and chilled out style, it’s the perfect place to hang out amongst the street art and is very reasonably priced.

Owner Robert Jones said: “Myself and my partner Vic have been heavily involved in the Victoria Quarter project — I have been the Co-Ordinator of the street art whereas she has been involved in the hospitality aspect. We’re therefore thrilled to now have our own venue on the street and people are loving it so far.”
He continued: “There’s often lots of little tweaks you need to do as a new hospitality business owner but we seem to have hit the ground running. We’ve selected our food and drink very carefully and kept it nice and simple — we’ve also kept our prices very reasonable as we know many people are stretched at the moment.”
