A night of fashion, music and powerful personal stories is set to light up Prescot this May as local boutique Want That Dress hosts its hugely anticipated annual charity fashion show. Taking place on 21st May from 7pm, the event promises to be an unforgettable evening once again — and with tickets already flying out!

This year’s show is in aid of Breast Mates, a local charity dedicated to supporting women affected by breast cancer. Every penny raised on the night will go directly to the charity’s vital work within the community. Guests can look forward to not one, but three dazzling catwalk showcases, celebrating style for every occasion:

In keeping with the inclusive spirit of the evening, the catwalk will feature real women modelling the collections — proving that style is for everybody. Among them will be some of the inspiring women supported by Breast Mates, bringing an added layer of meaning and emotion to the runway.
Beyond the fashion, the evening will also shine a spotlight on the lived experiences of breast cancer survivors. Guests will hear empowering and deeply moving talks from women who have faced the disease and emerged stronger, sharing stories of resilience, courage and hope. These profound moments are set to be the emotional heart of the event, reminding everyone why the night matters so much.

Adding to the electric atmosphere, guests will be treated to a live performance from Chic Le Freak, the UK’s No.1 tribute to disco legends Chic — officially endorsed by Nile Rodgers himself. Expect iconic hits, feel-good vibes and a dancefloor that won’t stay empty for long. A fully stocked bar will also be available throughout the evening, ensuring the celebrations continue long after the final model leaves the catwalk.

Organiser Jane McNally, owner of famous local boutique Want That Dress and organiser of the event, said: “We’re so excited for this year’s event! These shows are always absolutely incredible and we always sell out! We have some incredible designers and boutiques showcasing their ranges and some top class entertainment — all for a great cause on what will be a night to remember!”
She continued: “We’re aiming to raise thousands for charity once again — this time for Breast Mates who do such wonderful work helping women through breast cancer. The event is sponsored by Tower College, meaning that maximum funds raised on the night go directly to the charity. Fashion, fun and fundraising — what’s not to love?
