40 ARTISTS RELEASE SONG FOR ZOE’S PLACE!

The Mersey Music Collective have recorded a very special original song for Liverpool’s Zoe’s Place. Featuring over 40 artists from the Merseyside region, including Peter Hooton (The Farm), TV Personalities Kate Robbins and Tricia Penrose, Anthony Russell (X-Factor Finalist), plus many more performers including The Devine Theatre Group Children’s Choir, the song titled ‘Lighthouse’ was released on 6th June.
The song has been written by Angela Inkson, Tony Cook and Chris Hollis. The video for the song is produced by Liverpool Film Studios. Renowned Merseyside artist Paul Curtis has designed the artwork for the single. All corners of this project, from the songwriters, producers, musicians and artists are from the bedrock of the city.

A spokesperson from Liverpool’s Zoe’s Place said: “A huge thank you to The Mersey Music Collective for bringing such a multi-talented group of artists together to make every moment matter, your incredible support and passion means so much to the babies and families at Liverpool’s Zoe’s Place. With your help, we can continue providing love, care and comfort to those most in need. We wish you well with the song which is absolutely amazing.”

Organiser Tony Cook is also heading up the huge Live Aid Liverpool event at The Adelphi Hotel this July — an incredible day of live music featuring some of the region’s most talented artists and bands. The showcase will raise vital funds for Zoe’s Place, Shelter and Gift Of Sight.
