Skin Studio offers a variety aesthetic treatments — from nails and lashes to skin and facial treatments — and has over 100 5 star reviews. Recognising the struggle of teenagers with acne breakouts and the resulting scarring and skin damage, she offers specialist treatments for teens that are safer than many toxic products on the market.
One of the key services is the pore reset facial — very affordable at just £25. This service includes cleansing and toning the face, extraction and finally, targeting specific skin concerns. Teenagers love the service as it boosts their confidence and they feel better about their skin as a result. “After having the treatment I felt so much better about myself and less self-conscious,” said one.

Megan explained: “Acne can be very distressing for young people, especially as they are battling with hormone changes at the same time. For teens with particularly bad skin breakouts, it can make them very self-conscious and sadly it can be an easy target for bullies. It’s easy to turn to products that are actually harmful and contain toxins, so I wanted to offer a safer and affordable option.”

After 10 years of offering her beauty and aesthetics services alongside her full-time job, often working long 15 hour days, Megan recently built her own home studio and quit her secure job to go full time with her business. It’s a leap of faith that’s paying off, as she is busier than ever with both her loyal clients and growing number of teens seeking solutions for bad skin.
“I absolutely love what I do and it’s been my dream for a while to go full time,” Megan summarises. “My aim has always been for clients to feel incredible when leaving my studio and I fully understand that it’s about mental health as well as physical appearance. I also understand that not everyone has lots of disposable income, so I keep my prices low and affordable.”
