Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Robert Vincent is bringing three very special intimate gigs to both his hometown of Liverpool and Bury St. Edmonds this November! The multi award winning Americana artist, lauded by the likes of Elvis Costello, Bob Harris and The Sunday Times, is performing at Liverpool Philharmonic Music Rooms on Fri 12th and Sat 13th and at The APEX in Bury St. Edmunds on Thurs 18th November.
The three unique shows will showcase tracks from his latest album, ‘In This Town You’re Owned’, along with a few favourites from previous albums and a selection of classic covers that have inspired him along the way. Catch Robert with his band accompanied by a beautiful string quartet for what promises to be a truly wonderful night.
Fresh off the back of winning Americana Music Association UK’s 2021 UK Artist of the Year and 2021 UK Album of the Year awards, Robert Vincent offers an exciting opportunity to experience his music like never before. If you’re not already a big fan of this incredible talent, you certainly will be after one of these shows.
Ever since his debut album ‘Life in Easy Steps’ in 2013, the Liverpool artist has been one of the most acclaimed new voices in Americana, Country and Folk. Having received the inaugural Emerging Artist Award from ‘Whispering’ Bob Harris in 2016 – who described Vincent as “absolutely magnetic” — Vincent was then invited onto BBC4’s ‘Old Grey Whistle Test: For One Night Only’.
That performance marked a real breakthrough for Vincent, establishing him as one of the UK’s leading lights in Americana and propelling him to #1 in the iTunes Country chart. Vincent now returns with an exciting new album produced by Brit Award winning Ethan James, who has won acclaim for his production work with, amongst others, Paul McCartney, Ray LaMontagne, Laura Marling, Kings of Leon, The Staves and Tom Jones.
Having supported the likes of Elvis Costello, Robert Plant and James Blunt, Vincent is now ready to tour again in his own right — starting with three very special intimate gigs. Described as ‘The Scouse Springsteen’ by the Editor of Q Magazine, a Robert Vincent live performance is a must for lovers of Americana, Country and Folk.
Robert Vincent with Strings Attached is coming to Liverpool Philharmonic Music Rooms on Fri 12th and Sat 13th November and The APEX in Bury St. Edmunds on Thurs 18th November. Tickets for these intimate gigs are on sale now with limited availability so it’s advisable to book early.
