Set within the stunning landscape of Etherow Country Park, the independently run event has become one of the UK’s most beloved boutique festivals. The three day event combines heavyweight lineups with a capped capacity, allowing festivalgoers to move between stages without crushing crowds, while still attracting internationally respected DJs, selectors and live acts.

The 2026 edition looks set to continue that reputation with one of the festival’s strongest lineups to date. Headliners include Groove Armada, 2manydjs, Gilles Peterson and Nightmares on Wax. Also appearing are Quantic, Chali 2na, K Klass and Greg Wilson, alongside a broad mix of reggae, drum & bass, funk, hip-hop and leftfield electronic artists.

Recent announcements have added names such as Fish56Octagon, Mungo’s Hi Fi, DJ Rap and Jumpin Jack Frost, reinforcing Moovin’s reputation for balancing legendary selectors with underground favourites. In additional to incredible live music, there are performers, fire shows, gong baths, yoga, cabaret, comedy, culinary delights, magic, mischief and festival surprises.

Multiple stages are scattered throughout the woodland site, with hidden dancefloors, immersive art installations and late-night rave energy woven into the landscape. Whitebottom Farm sits within a lush valley near Compstall, surrounded by forests, lakes and dramatic rocky gorges — festivalgoers enter through tree-lined paths and natural scenery that feel miles away from nearby Manchester.

Co-Organiser Fletch, of Hacienda legend, said: “We’ve developed a cult following over the last 11 years and we’re really proud of what we’ve created. We’ve stayed true to our ethos of providing excellent value for money, an intimate setting yet still with a top tier line up. For many it feel like an old-school free party with great vibes than a commercial mega-festival. It’s a fine balance but we manage to achieve it each year.”
