Opened in March, Ellis’ Vaults has been a breathe of fresh air in the seaside town — breathing new life into Rhyl’s music scene. The first couple of months have featured fantastic live music from the best artists and bands from North Wales and Merseyside — blending top local talent with Liverpool legends and bringing the good times back to the town.

In addition to attracting some of the best live music acts around and hosting unforgettable gigs, Ellis’ Vaults has become a hub for live sport, pool and darts — with a great playlist and feel good vibes. The feedback from locals has been fantastic and the new beer garden adds another exciting new dimension to the offering.

Ellis’ Vaults is open 7 days a week and the new beer garden is an ideal sun trap for the summer months ahead. The beer garden is dog and child friendly, with plans for some family events during the summer holidays. This latest addition further cements its growing reputation as one of North Wales’ coolest live music venues.

Manager Leigh Wright said: “It’s been a huge project turning the former nightclub, Hidden, into this vibrant music venue you see today. The refurbishment was extensive and we’ve put our hearts and souls into it but it’s been so worth it when hearing the great feedback from everyone. We’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing good times and great music back to Rhyl!”
He continued: “We really appreciate the support from everyone and we want to keep getting better. We’ve worked hard to get the new beer garden open as soon as possible and we’re delighted to open it just as the sunny weather is kicking in. It’s a gorgeous little sun trap out there and it means people don’t just have to be indoors here whilst it’s sunny — plus we can now accommodate kids and dogs.”
