Recently saved from ruin and transformed into a stunning gastropub, Eastham Ferry Hotel is hosting the free event on their beautifully landscaped new garden. The event is completely free to attend and ties in with egg run bikes coming into the neighbouring bikers pub, The Tap. Eastham Ferry Hotel is an Easter Egg Donation Point for The Charles Thompson Mission too, who do great work providing care, support, food and clothes to those in need.

The free event is the first of many community events that will be hosted by Eastham Ferry Hotel this year. What’s more, those who claim FREE TICKETS to the event can hand them in behind the bar with their details for a chance to win free food and drink vouchers! The event is expected to be a busy one, plus there’ll be bikes, so people are encouraged to travel by bus and leave their cars at home.

After a huge £800,000 refurbishment, the Grade II Listed Eastham Ferry Hotel now offers top quality food and drink, events and venue hire. The Egg Run Family Fun Day is one of many big outdoor events planned — with Bank Holiday events, charity family fun days, ‘GlastonFerry’ music festivals and more — as the new team want to bring back special memories for people.

Co-Owner Panayiotis Miltiades said: “We’ve put our hearts into restoring this historic building but that’s just the start. Now that we’re established as a destination, we want to create lasting memories for people and families in this picturesque pocket of South Wirral. We’re all about community and by working together with The Tap and Mimosa Tea Garden we can create some magic here at Eastham Country Park.”
Holly Davis added: “It’s such a beautiful setting here, with the woods and coastline for dog walking and gorgeous views over to Liverpool, and its the perfect location for community events and family fun days. Our team have enjoyed many special memories here over the years and this is why we saved the building — to create more unforgettable memories for people like this.”
