Following the incredible success of 21st Amendment on Penny Lane, the team have opened their second venue in The Quadrant, Hoylake — offering quality cuisine from an award winning kitchen team, premium drinks, live music and live sport in a stylish yet relaxed environment.

Open 7 days a week, 21st Amendment brings a perfect blend of fine yet relaxed dining — with a refined menu of carefully selected small plates available from Monday to Saturday and seasonal roasts on Sundays. The new venue has recruited Sam Creedon to oversee the kitchen — an exceptional chef with a Michelin background — and an award winning kitchen team featuring Head Chef Darryn Jones.

The cool hangout is a great addition to the Wirral town’s dining scene and has had rave reviews already. There are lots of plans for the new hotspot, with live acoustic music Friday to Sunday and offers such as 2 cocktails for £12 and happy hours. Bringing a completely new offering to the Wirral, the early signs show that 21st Amendment is headed for great success — operating on a policy of offering great value for money.

Co-Owner James Sullivan said: “Our first venue on Penny Lane has exceeded expectations and we’ve bounced back really well after lockdowns. Being from West Kirby myself, it was a natural move to bring the concept to Wirral and we’re really excited to show the people of Wirral what we’re all about.”
He continued: “Finding the right team in hospitality is always tough but we feel we’ve really nailed it with this place. Sam Creedon has a wealth of experience, trained by Michel Roux, and Head Chef Darryn Jones is a creative genius. The Bar Manager Dave is excellent and with the team we have in place people can expect a top experience.”

21st Amendment enjoyed an extremely busy opening weekend — with hundreds of locals coming to sample the top quality food and drink on offer and some great live music from the likes of local legends The Weird Beards. The Sunday roasts, in particular, were a big hit — selling out before the kitchen closed.

James summarized: “It’s always great to open a business after months of hard work and refurbishment and we always knew it would go down well in Hoylake but we didn’t anticipate such a huge response! The local people have been so supportive and the feedback has been amazing — we’re now preparing for a very busy time ahead!”
