Cory said: “I met my wife-to-be Germaine in North Wales when I was at Uni there and after falling in love and getting married we lived in Buffalo for 14 years. After having kids it was decided we settle over here in the Wirral and it’s a decision I’m really glad we made as I love it here and love the people. I opened Nickel City almost two years ago, wanting to bring something different to the area, and it’s become a big hit!”
He continued: “Coming from the U.S, I’ve taken some of the things that have been a great success over the pond, put my own twist on them and created some really unique dishes on the menu. I love experimenting and creating revolving specials to mix things up. We have plans for themed nights such as tacos nights and sometimes go wild and put on free pizzas for special occasions.”
