Chris McMichael said: “Germaine and I converted to veganism a few ywears ago when our daughter Lottie, who was 5 years old at the time, decided she didn’t want to harm animals. Ever since then we haven’t looked back and opened Liverpool’s first fully vegan restaurant, Veggie Republic, and now Planet Vegan too.”
He continued: “Veganuary is an important month as it spreads awareness about eating more ethically and healthily. This is a great opportunity to tell more people about the benefits of becoming vegan or vegetarian. We thought we’d offer 20% off to reward people for eating this way but also to encourage meat eaters to give it a try — showing them that being vegan doesn’t have to be boring.”
