The organisers of Liverpool Fringe Theatre Festival, which will be coming to independent venues across the city this June, have a special early spectacular in store as they bring to Lark Lane their 24 Hour Play Festival on 12-13th April.

Six writers, six directors and 24 actors will come together at Lark Lane Community Centre at 10pm on 12th April to form six theatre companies.

The 10-15 minutes pieces will be written, rehearsed and performed all within 24 little hours.  The finished productions will be on show at Lark Lane Community Centre from 7.30pm on 13th April.

The “playathon” is in its second year – a fundraiser for the Liverpool Fringe Theatre Festival to be held in June, and tickets will be on sale soon for £7, so head on down, support your local independent theatre scene, and find out if it is really possible to stage a play in just 24 hours…

The Liverpool Fringe Theatre Festival is still looking for additional acts and sponsors so it’s not too late to sign up for this fabulous event, now in its 3rd year, which showcases the undisputable talent on offer in Liverpool’s independent theatre scene.
