The Kambo clothing brand has been created by Lewis Powell, following many years of visits to the Amazon, notably Peru where he has spent much time with the indigenous tribes. Founder of Kambo Practitioner Alliance, Lewis is one of the UK’s pioneers of kambo — the ancient healing practise using the sacred South American kambo frog.

During his time spent with the Amazonian tribes, Lewis has witnessed first hand the hardships they face — from deforestation to suppression. Through the new Kambo brand, each sale will contribute towards sustainability projects that protect the Amazon rainforest and its indigenous communities.

Lewis explained: “I’ve been visiting the Amazon for around 10 years now, working closely with tribes and bringing their sacred healing practises and knowledge back to the UK. Many people have benefitted from this, whilst the tribes and their environment are exploited — through purchasing things such as clothing and coffee consciously we can help make a difference.”
He continued: “Kambo was born out of a passion for both fashion and the environment. We envision a world where clothing is not only a means of self-expression but also a tool for positive change.
