Port Sunlight’s historic Grade II Listed weddings and events venue, Hulme Hall, has recently undergone a refurbishment following its new ownership and has announced a series of exciting upcoming events and also wedding packages for 2025. With markets and fairs, a beer festival, a Christmas market, December parties and more, there’s loads going on!
The new look 1000 capacity venue is available for venue hire and weddings, with some fantastic new changes. There’s now LED lights throughout, a new access ramp, new stages, new decor and a new on site cafe to accompany the fully stocked bar. Quality catering is available from the talented kitchen team too. Here’s what’s on….

Markets & Fairs
Hulme Hall has regular markets and events including flea markets, vintage and collectibles markets, and craft and antiques markets. A perfect thing to do at the weekend following a stroll through the picturesque village. In December there’ll be magical Christmas markets too — a must when looking for the ideal Christmas present from a local independent vendor.

Beer Festival
Join Hulme Hall for the much-anticipated beer festival in November, where you can sample a wide range of local brews and enjoy live entertainment. The 18th Wirral Beer Festival returns from Thurs 14th — Sun 17th November, with tickets from just £3. There’ll be over 200 beers and ciders including 80 real ales and 80 craft beers, as well as Continental lagers, ciders and a specialty gin and rum bar.
December Parties
Hulme Hall is hosting a series of special Christmas parties. On 13th and 21st December from 7pm on both nights, enjoy a 3 course meal with live entertainment for just £36pp. Meanwhile, on 5th and 11th December from 11.30am on both days, the Seniors Christmas Lunch offers a 3 course meal, live entertainment and a raffle for just £22pp.
