Wirral’s legendary pub, Stanley’s Cask, is known for being one of the best live music venues around and they always put on a great party! On Sunday 20th October they’ll be hosting one of the local events of the year, with a huge charity extravaganza that’s going to go off in true Stanley’s Cask style!

Things kick off at Seacombe’s Soccer Dome at 1pm with a charity football tournament until 3pm. After the tournament it’s back to ‘The Cask’ for hot food and drinks followed by the Liverpool v. Man Utd match, boss tunes, a huge raffle with fantastic prizes and live music from the hilarious country rock party starters Mule Train!

Stanley’s Cask is set to be THE place to be that Sunday, with a booming atmosphere guaranteed! There’ll be donation buckets going round and a big charity raffle with prizes such as tattoo vouchers, restaurant vouchers, Chester Zoo tickets, kids’ toys, bottles of spirits, wine and loads more. Also, if you haven’t seen a live show from Mule Train — be prepared for a crazy party!

This exciting all day event is in aid of two very special local charities. The Open Door Centre based in Birkenhead is a wonderful place that offers support for those with mental health issues and depression. The other one, Rottie Retreat Rescue, is a non profit organisation ran by local woman Helen who takes in and re-homes unwanted Rottweilers dogs.
