A huge online fundraiser festival is coming to Facebook this V.E Day! The Hoylake based festival kicks off at 9am, with a coffee morning from Kogarashi Coffee, dance from Anamal Dance School and Roxy’s School Of Performance and a kids morning with crafts, Wish Upon A Party, Dragonfly Couture Stationary and magic from Aaron Hayes and Tony Sherman.

Following all of this there’s live music from some of the best music artists around including solo sets from Ian, James and Paul from The Coral and a guest appearance from Nigel Clark of Dodgy! With plenty of quality live music throughout the day and a DJ set from Last Orders to finish things off, it’s set to be a lockdown festival of epic proportion!

Amongst the music there’s cooking tips from The Quadrant, cocktail masterclasses from Whitt’s End, guitar lesson from Matthew Gray, an acrobat session from Paul Curran, NHS isolation dances from Katie O’Malley and some hair and well being from Carrie-Anne Shirley of Capelli Salon Couture. With something for everyone, this incredible day is one not to miss!

In addition to all of the above, there will be support from Love Lane brewery who have donated fresh pints of their finest ale to be delivered to members of the local community by volunteers of the ‘More Than Beer’ community project. There will also be raffles on the day, with raffle money also going to care packages for frontline workers.

The festival comes courtesy of The Lake and The Ship landlords, Loz Shirley and Victoria Ponsonby, who have already been helping the community enormously with their ‘More Than Beer’ community project. They have teamed up with charity event organisers, West Kirby Live and Hoylake Live, with a huge effort from West Kirby Live’s Tom Longman, to create this ground breaking online festival concept.

All donations on the day will contribute to the amazing work of the ‘More Than Beer’ project — providing support, deliveries, meals and care packages to community members who need help and frontline care workers. The ethos of this V.E day celebration is to ‘remember those who fought for our freedom, whilst raising funds for those who are fighting for our futures’.
