A Wirral junior football team is seeking your help to achieve their dream of playing in a tournament in Europe! New Brighton Victoria FC’s Under 11 Eagles and Ravens are hoping to play in the Bruges Cup in Belgium from 18th — 21st April 2025, in what promises to be an experience of a lifetime!

The young boys will be competing in a tournament against some talented teams from Europe on their adventure, whilst visiting a new country and creating some unforgettable moments together. The once in a lifetime trip costs £350pp and there are 28 kids hoping to go on the football trip, so almost £10,000 is required to help them achieve their dream.

New Brighton Victoria FC will be funding some of the trip for each child, meanwhile the children themselves will be doing their own fundraising. That said, if there are any generous members of the public or any business that can help it would mean the world to them. There’s a GoFundMe set up or businesses can sponsor unique tracksuits for the Belgium tour with their business logo on.

New Brighton Victoria FC’s junior players are as deserving as any junior club to go on this incredible trip. The social values football club do a great deal to help charitable causes and have raised almost £5,000 for the likes of Wirral Wise Guys, Young Lives V Cancer, CICRA and the Elle Edwards Foundation. Now is the time to help them.

Club Chairman and Founder Chris Guy said: “We’ve created a very special club here that’s built around social values and encouraging positive mental health and a strong community ethos. Going into our second season we now have two Under 11s teams and an Under 8s team and we’re growing all the time — all the boys buy into our ethos which is wonderful.”
He continued: “As well as adhering to an inclusive and kind code of conduct both on and off the pitch, the boys have done so much great work in the community and helped many vital causes. We’re wanting to reward them with this very special trip to Belgium for this football tournament so if any kind souls out there or any businesses can help we’d be so grateful!”
