LA VIDA LIVERPOOL IN THE MIX: FERAL STATE

Merseyside has a vibrant electronic music scene, from underground warehouse parties to huge sell-out events that attract some of the best DJs in the world. There’s also an abundance of amazingly talented local DJs and it’s something we like to shout about at La Vida Liverpool. La Vida Liverpool In The Mix is a series of exclusive mixes from some of Merseyside’s best DJs to celebrate our thriving scene and provide you with some delightful sounds for your listening pleasure. This mix is provided by Feral State.

Feral State are a Liverpool based trio of DJs and percussionists, consisting of Sean Tierney, Antony Morgan and Callum Butler, and are developing a reputation for their multi genre style. Always looking for something different and willing to experiment, Feral State are known for thinking outside the box and producing interesting sets. Formed 3 years ago, they have been playing more and more events locally and feature monthly on 199 Radio and in addition to this they host a regular underground night called Mas in small venues and studios.

The underground Mas nights have seen them team up with their radio friends from Manchester to put on a 12 hour day and night event at 24 Kitchen Street in the Baltic Triangle on 4th August. This event will see Max Graef and Breakwave headline, as well as featuring Feral State, Mas residents and Sisu — a collection of female DJs who run workshops to get more females into DJing. In the meantime, check out this exclusive mix for La Vida Liverpool, as Feral State bring us something a bit different. Enjoy 🙂
