It has been organised by social values junior football club, New Brighton Victoria FC. New Brighton Victoria’s Chairman Chris Guy said: “It’s a pleasure to be hosting this amazing night with two footballing legends at such a great venue! It will be an enthralling night and I’m looking forward to some engrossing tales from both Bruce and Neville. There will be some top live entertainment on offer, as well as some great prizes to be won — it’s a must for football fans!”

He continued: “This type of thing is exactly what New Brighton Victoria FC is about — more than just a football club, with a big emphasis on community. Our last event with Everton legend Peter Reid raised over £3,000 for a local family and this time we’re raising money for Charlotte’s Brightside — a wonderful grassroots organisation based in New Brighton.”

Charlotte’s Brightside charity was founded in memory of Charlotte Churchill, who died tragically in a car accident, and bridges the gap in society in many ways. With a social supermarket, support groups, community events and activities, after school clubs and more, its aim is to tackle poverty, loneliness and mental health issues through a range of initiatives.
