We recently attended the re-launch event of the new look Ghetto Golf and it’s incredible! The refurbished indoor crazy golf venue has 18 exciting new holes, with themes such as Super Mario Bros, ‘Sh*t Hole’, Jeremy Kyle and more, in addition to an exciting new cocktail and street food menu.

On the night we got to play all 18 the innovative holes — all challenging and with their own fascinating theme. There are some hilarious themes such as the sex shop hole and loads of quirky new features. Despite our Editor coming joint last in the group, it was a night of fun and madness that Ghetto Golf has become famous for!

We also got to sample some of the gorgeous street food from Apocalypse Cow on the night, such as lasagne bites and mini burgers — not to mention the creative cocktails, such as Sicker Than Yo Average. After a side splitting round of golf, music was provided in the adjacent bar by the legendary Birdies Bar resident, Samwise.

Danny, along with co-owner Kip Piper, opened the first Ghetto Golf in 2016, using scrap, salvage and spray paint to turn a dilapidated warehouse into an eccentric, super-Instagrammable crazy golf meets Alice in Wonderland adventure. There are now two other sites and four others in the pipeline throughout the country.
