A stroke of theatrical genius, the playwright portrays both sides of the story — delving deep into the upbringing of both boys and the psyche of the one who commits the crime. Scenes such as the perpetrator being visited in his cell by a 10 year old girl acting as ‘Epiphany’ will leave the audience feeling deeply moved and touched.

The play is fully supported by knife victim Sam Cooke’s mother and the playwright has signed the rights of the play over to her. Playwright Bri Mansy told us: “I have not written this play for theatre or entertainment — I am doing this to raise awareness and educate people on the harsh realities of this devastating crime.”

He continued: “This play is not for the faint hearted but there’s no point tip toeing around such subjects — by exposing the gritty truth it will hopefully raise awareness and if we can change one person’s perspective then we’ve done our job. There are lots of twists in this play, plenty of poignant moments and interesting would’ve been scenarios. It’ll certainly make people think and feel.”
