A new record has been set for Rokka’s famous Tomahawk Challenge! The Bromborough steakhouse, famed for its high quality meat, hosted a challenge night that saw regular Rob Southwood demolish a 93oz tomahawk steak plus sides in just under 37 minutes — beating basketball pro Will Neighbour in the process.

With the Cheshire Phoenix basketball crew and other diners looking on with intrigue, regular Rob and basketball star Will got stuck into their starters, sides and vast amounts of steak. Despite Will being much taller, leaner and a fierce competitor on the court, it was Rob who stole the show in this particular battle.

Beating his previous record of a 73oz steak in just 44 minutes, Rob demonstrated gannet-like prowess and wasted no time in ravishing everything in front of him like a pro! Will gave it a decent shot in his own right, taking care of a 91oz steak with all the extras in 1 hour and 37 minutes, but allowances must be given for his position in the basketball season.
