Tanskey’s, situated on West Kirby promenade, has one of the best views in the Wirral and offers quality food and drink in an idyllic setting. The November seafood and wine deal consists of a seafood sharing platter and a carafe of wine for just £25 — perfect for sharing and with £5 going towards the great work of the R.N.L.I. An extension of the bistro’s popular ‘Fish Friday’, the new offer has a charity twist to it.

The seafood platter features quality fresh seafood including beer battered cod goujons and tartar sauce, smoked salmon bruschetta, light dusted squid rings and sweet chilli sauce, white bait with a wedge of lemon and prawn cocktail. The carafe of wine features chilled sauvignon blanc but can be exchanged for red if required.

Tanskey’s is open 9am until 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays (9 — 5 on Sun — Thurs) and the offer is available all day, but as they’ve often busy booking is highly recommended. The donations from the offer will prove invaluable to the R.N.L.I as they have really suffered with lack of funds during the pandemic and lockdown rules.

Tanskey’s owner, Hannah Cleator, told us: “The R.N.L.I have really suffered because many of their big fundraising events have been cancelled this year, yet their volunteer crew is still on call 24/7. People have been using the beaches more than ever and the R.N.L.I have had increases of callouts, regularly risking their lives to save others.”
She continued: “We really value the great work they do so we’ve decided to help them out at this difficult time whilst providing our customers with a great deal at the same time. Our Fish Fridays have been very popular so we thought we’d extend it with a signature charity dish with great wine.”
