I had just undertaken one of the biggest physical challenges of my life so given my connections to Inner Guru, Dasha was the ideal choice to help ease my muscle tension. As with any of Dasha’s treatments, she is very thorough and provides a full consultation. We established that all muscles in both of my legs were still pretty tight after my epic bicycle adventure, so that was to be the area of focus. Dasha truly knows how to manipulate and work the muscles and if you’ve ever had a deep tissue massage you’ll understand. Whilst at times rather painful (especially when she used the device), when I came out of the session I felt completely reset and invigorated — almost as if my legs had been snapped back into place and recalibrated.

Dasha explained: “I created My Body Therapy after being injured rock climbing. I am a keen sportsperson, so I learnt sports therapy from personal experience and through a sportsperson’s eyes. It’s because of this my mission is to help people recover as quickly as possible rather than keep them with me to make more money.”

She continued: “Growing up in Poland, enjoyed lots of outdoor sports such as rock climbing and skiing. Unfortunately, I suffered a complete ACL tear, a Lebral tear with cam impingement in the hip as well as many finger pulley injuries. These injuries, although painful and demoralising, proved to be a turning point in my life.”
“During my rehabilitation I developed an interest and passion for learning about the body, injury prevention and rehabilitation as well as nutrition, which plays big part in the recovery process. This eventually led to me moving from a corporate job and qualifying as a Sports Massage and Rehabilitation Therapist. I now help others the same way in which I was helped and I am extremely passionate about that!”
