THE VICTORIA QUARTER: LVL’S EXCITING NEW HOME!

0

Here at La Vida Liverpool we’re thrilled to have moved into a new office! Having launched just over a year ago, we’re still only a very small team, but there are big plans to grow and having an office in the heart of New Brighton’s exciting Victoria Quarter project is a big step in the right direction!

We’ve been doing great things to promote people, businesses, events and charities over the last 12 months and we now have hundreds of visitors to our website per day and thousands of followers on Facebook. The future is looking bright as we strive to be a positive media source and the most recognised online magazine in the region, and having an office in the heart of a thriving new district is a really positive thing.

What’s the Victoria Quarter all about?

The Victoria Quarter is a major regeneration project in New Brighton courtesy of local businessman, Daniel Davies, and the team at Rockpoint Leisure. The seaside town’s Victoria Road area is home to some cracking independents however it has been neglected somewhat in recent years and most tourists flock to the larger chains on the promenade.

Set back just up the hill behind the main promenade, the Victoria Quarter has some great new additions to the brilliant independents already there. There’s now a fashion outlet called Rockpoint Apparel, the James Atherton tavern, Habibi middle Eastern restaurant that’s been receiving rave reviews and lots of fascinating street art.

There are plans going forward for further street art, aesthetic improvements, an American live music venue, a vinyl exchange, an indoor artisan market and other exciting things. The Victoria Quarter aims to be a flagship regeneration project for seaside towns and an example of how to improve areas without corporate chains.

Our office….

Our office is located on the top floor above the old solicitors — there’s currently a drop in centre on the ground floor that will become the American live music venue. The second floor is currently occupied by local artists and street artists and we share the top floor with Training SP. We have an adjoining kitchen and views over the Irish sea to Crosby.

About Training SP….

Training SP, who we share the top floor with, supply training solutions to the hospitality industry. They provide courses in 70 locations nationwide and cover training in personal alcohol licenses, health and safety, food safety, fire awareness, first aid and various other essential workplace training matters.

Here at La Vida Liverpool we have a great relationship with Training SP, so can offer our clients discounted training courses! Whether you’re looking for a personal license for career progression or for one of your staff as a necessity, or if you need any other hospitality industry training, get in touch to see what we secure for you!
