Liverpool wellbeing hub, Inner Guru CIC, is offering free wellbeing treatments in 2025 to help those struggling with the cost of living crisis. Thanks to National Lottery and Sport England funding, free classes, workshops and treatments are available including meditation, breathwork, yoga, sharing circles, sports massage and more.
Free Pain Relief
This free 12-week programme, funded by Sport England, is for adults (18+) who are living with physical or mental health challenges, including injury, chronic pain, disability, or emotional distress. It’s especially for those feeling left behind by mainstream fitness spaces. The sessions run on Tuesdays from 1st July, 10:00–11:30am, at Inner Guru in Liverpool and are ran by experienced recovery expert Dasha from My Body Therapy.
Each session combines gentle strength work, mobility rehab, breathwork, and accessible yoga. It’s not about pushing limits — it’s about rebuilding safely, gaining confidence in your body, and being supported by others on a similar journey. Participants must commit to attending at least 10 out of 12 sessions. Spaces are limited and an eligibility and commitment form must be completed before joining.

Free Wellbeing Treatments
The Community Roots project is funding free treatments in 2025 to help people during these times of financial hardship. There are many classes available including Meditation Mondays, Yin Yoga Tuesdays, Disconnect With Kev on Thursdays, 5 Week Yoga Course, 6 Week Breathwork Course and more. Meanwhile, there’s a men’s mental health group, family workshops and counselling for young people.
The funding is available to anyone who is struggling due to the cost of living crisis and spaces are available on a trust basis — without scrutiny or judgement. People can visit the Inner Guru website and nominate themselves or someone else — the centre will then get in touch to discuss the treatments, courses and workshops available to choose from.

Venue Hire
Inner Guru CIC is also looking to work with more wellbeing practitioners and community groups in 2025 in order to widen its reach and help as many people as possible. Venue hire is kept to an absolute minimum just covering costs and there are large spaces and treatment and therapy rooms available for wellbeing practitioners.
